Did you see the first X-Factor programme on 4th September?  If you did you will have seen the twins who called themselves Gemini. 

The two girls - Sarah and Laura - are regulars at the Junction in Burgess Hill where we hold our monthly competition.  Not only that but they got through to the final from heat 2.

After their performance on the TV, Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills got hold of them and got them to perform on his afternoon show.  They sang My Heart Will Go On and I can tell you from experience that they certainly CAN sing that song.

When they sing it at the Junction the whole pub goes quiet and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.  When they finish the pub erupts into applause. 

Radio 1 are giving them a VIP trip to the One Big Weekend in Birmingham this weekend and Closer Magazine have given them a makeover.  Wow, what a difference!

Myself and Nigel and all at the Junction wish them all the luck in the world and know that if they have not been whisked off somewhere that they will be at the next heat (hopefully to judge) on 3rd October.

PS After speaking to the girls today (15th September)  they confirmed that they will be at The Junction to judge next month's competition.
