 Latest News Karaoke Final (January 15, 2006) The second yearly karaoke competition at The Junction, Burgess Hill has reached its end.
With 200 people in the bar on Sunday 15th January 16 finalists took to the stage and sung their hearts out. After 40 minutes of deliberation the judges took this down to 6 people who sung for the top 3 places. Then as they couldn't decide on which order to place them in - the top 3 had to sing again.
Chris Oxlade from Radio Mercury joined my husband, Nigel, and the landlady Michelle to make up the panel of judges.
The door money and raffle proceeds (all prizes donated by local businesses) totalled £510 and our winner, Sue Power from Horsham, decided she would like this to go to Cancer Research.
