 Latest News Karaoke Comp off to flying start (July 30, 2006) Sunday 30th July 2006 saw the first heat of the karaoke competition at The Junction in Burgess Hill.
This is the third year we have run this competition and I am still amazed at the talent out there. We had 17 entries in last night's heat and the quality of singers was extremely high.
The judges - Nigel Fenter, my husband, Michelle Ridley, landlady, and Sue Power, last year's winner did a sterling job and finally picked the 4 people going through to the semi finals in January.
This is the first time we have had to have semi finals but it is getting so difficult it will make things fairer and also make the Grand Final night more 'user friendly' in that it will not go on as long.
